This morning representatives from the IoD, FSB, Chamber of Commerce and Cambridge Network all came to Shire Hall to meet Mark Lloyd, Alex Plant and me.
It was good to be able to run through the Council’s commitments to driving the economy like Broadband, the Ely Crossing, Cambridge Science Park Station, Northstowe and our work with with Urban & Civic on the Enterprise Zone and DfT on the A14.
All in all a very positive session with support for the initiatives and, interestingly, for the Council’s position on Council Tax.
